I've seen it all

A sperm bank is sued under product liability law. Say what?
Yes, it’s true. And it’s happening somewhere you can sue (and possibly win) for just about everything.

Basically a 13 year old girl is suing a sperm bank for the fact that they provided the sperm which was used to give birth to her. She was born with a genetic disorder the causes mental impairment.

Enjoy the whole absurdity of the situation: http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20227032.400-sperm-bank-sued-under-product-liability-law.html

So, the sperm bank provided “unsafe sperm” that caused injuries. It should be treated the same as a car company providing a faulty engine on a car. Hahahaha. Was all the sperm provided faulty or just part of it? Was it the sperm’s fault?
Aside the sad fact that the girl is mentally impaired, I cannot get over the WTF that this story  instantly generated. I mean giving live is a complex process and many things can go wrong along the way. You should understand that when you’re having a child you cannot treat him like a product.

So inspired by this story I have something that will make us all happy and incredibly rich. Here goes:
Sad that you don’t look like an athlete? That you’re as dumb as a brick? That you’re bald? That you’re fat? Sue your parents. You don’t have to necessarily be in an extreme case like this girl is in. You should be enjoying of the good things in life but you cannot do that because of your parents! Sue them, sue them… :)

To add to the situation also check out the commentaries. They are priceless. As in Mastercard commercial priceless. To actually think that you can be the same person and have a different DNA. Priceless. To think that each individual sperm cell can be tested. Priceless. To not understand basic things about how stuff works (biologically speaking) and make a foul out of youself. You guessed it: Priceless.
