Coins

So my last hobby is related to coins.

The 25 cent coins actually. Or the quarter.
What could be so interesting in quarters one might ask. Aren’t them all the same? You’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all.
Actually, NO. They are not the same.

Seems that the US Mint found it interesting to have a program in which all the 50 states that form the US would appear on the back of the quarter. So starting from 1999 until 2008, each year quarters that came out had 5 different states on the reverse side.
You can read all about it here:

I personally think that’s a very good idea and by collecting the quarter I’ve learned a bit about US geography and the states that form it.
To make things interesting, the quarter for each state has something that represents the state somehow and the year the state joined the US engraved on the back side. Also the quarter were emitted roughly in the same order as they states joined the US.

Now, after a week since I took on this noble cause of collecting all 50 states quarters, I have 49 of them.

The one I’m missing is Alabama
Anyone have an extra quarter with Alabama on the back?

I would have to spend money on eBay to get this.
