Why “The Romanian Dream”?

It’s like the American dream only with Romanians.  And for it to have something in common with the bigger, better American one, the dream takes place in the Promise Land, where everyone can make it big and the distance between being a nobody and being somebody is only a few blocks away (or at least that’s what people [like to] think).

This blog wants to keep track of our (S & M) metamorphosis. It is also a place where we will analyze the differences between the American lifestyle and the Romanian one (if such a comparison is a fair one and should be made – if it’s not fair we’ll make it anyway).
